When
Hurricane Isabel came through, we were left without
phones and power for 9 days. Even our cell phones
were out for several days. Thankfully we have a
backup generator system and a Skycasters satellite
Internet connection...which allowed us to stay connected
to the world while everyone around us was cut off
and in the dark. Thanks, Skycasters. |

just wanted to say that I am totally impressed with
the Skycasters service. The installation went smoothly
in spite of my unusual situation (the antenna had
to be mounted on a steep, rocky river bank). Your
installer Mark, was able to put the dish exactly
where I wanted it, obtaining a difficult angle to
the satellite caused by many tall trees. Since that
time the service has performed 20 times better
than the previous 56K dial up connection. I
would recommend this to any business that has workers
or branch offices in a remote area and needs
an always-on broadband Internet connection. Keep
