No need to Gamble
Gordon and I went to Vegas on Thursday. Met with Don Chapman of Commerce Department. Positive conversation regarding the Action INTELEX/Skycasters ARRA proposal to bring broadband to the Navajo Nation.
After the meeting (and since we were in Vegas), we each decided to try to lose 20 bucks. I lost 10, then went to watch the Browns game in the bar instead. Much better choice, as we managed to sack Ben 8 times in route to a victory over the Steelers. Ryan for Pres!

Your topic “No Need to Gamble” was interesting when I found it on Monday searching for gamble…

Okay, you’re a spammer — but you raise an interesting point.
We went to Vegas on the business gamble that showing our solidarity with our Broadband Stimulus business partners might lend the whole effort extra cachĂ©. The dealer’s still out on that one.
But we used our time wisely. We also showed a Vegas conglomerate using broadband satellite Internet to monitor construction sites with video feed would save them having to travel to the site to make sure the crews were working as promised.
You ever done that? Had a team assigned to a task, but you couldn’t be there to supervise? It’s a gamble. Such jobs just have a way of missing goals. Use video via satellite to hedge your bets!
