Download speeds on our system are much closer to the stated speeds than that of the lower end satellite platforms. Many satellite providers are renting bandwidth from a Network Operator and then reselling the bandwidth to the end user. Skycasters is a Network Operator so we can directly monitor the network to prevent oversubscribing.
Upload speeds have become very important in today's broadband world. Due to the many IP features that can be added to a broadband connection a consistent upload speed is needed. Skycasters can provide upload speeds from 64 Kbps all the way to 2048 Kbps.
